Xbox One Try Again After Turning Xbox Off With Power Button
I'm having the same issue. I go a solid orange light on the ability supply, but the unit won't stay on. I get the power upwards chime then it shuts off. I'grand afraid to buy a new brick just to find out that'south non the problem.

Are yous plugging the panel in to a power bar or directly to the wall socket? If you are using a ability bar so attempt just plugging it in to the socket as the Xbox I ability bars take built in surge protectors.
If that doesn't work then you should consider the possibility that there is a power issue in your firm or try contacting phone support again for more aid.

What you will need to practice is a more thorough arrangement reset equally I have had a similar issue in the past. Unplug the power brick from the wall and from the console. Now remove any and all USB devices that are plugged into the panel - this is very important and the pace you are probably not doing. Wait for a few minutes, then plug the ability brick dorsum into the console and wall - practice non plug in whatever USB devices even so, including external difficult drives. At present showtime up the console and is should boot upwards usually, once it does you can keep to plug in your USB devices again.

I had this issue a few months back about every time there was an update for the One. First fourth dimension it happened I was a little freaked out as I could not go information technology to stay on. Then every bit a last resort earlier contacting Microsoft, I tried removing the USB devices before starting up and Voila! it worked. I have not had this issue for a few months now, but information technology did happen a couple of times after that first fourth dimension and was usually when an update was waiting to be installed.

Update... I tried unplugging everything from the console and held the ability push button and disc squirt button downward just to try something and it worked. Now, 4 days afterwards I am having the same outcome again and that trick earlier isn't working. And then at present once once more I don't know what to do. I am thinking it is my power supply I heard that information technology is a sign when you power supply is dying.

It is not the power supply..i had the same issue..when I would plug the power supply into the panel the orange lite would instantly turn white for 1 second, and so dorsum to orange, and then white, orange, white, and later the 3rd white it would just stay orange for eternal life until you unplug the ***..i did all the trouble shooting for almost ii weeks before calling Microsoft and they first told me information technology was a faulty power supply and gave me some *** analogy most how the little fan gets fried due to "me" improperly placing my power supply in a ventilated surface area (which It evidently is).. so while I was waiting on the order I found a replacement power supply make new at a local Disc Replay for $60..so I figured I'd seize with teeth the bullet since either manner I'd have a backup when my other ane comes back, but turns out the same *** as my (fried cooling fan) ability brick paperweight..i was furious simply because I trusted Microsofts customer service technical representative telling me what the problem was..only honestly It was kind of worth it to endeavor because I found out that there's actually a problem with my console (according to REP#2)
So now information technology's been a calendar week since I shipped out my console and 2 weeks for my perfectly functioning nada wrong at all power supply..so in some other 1-two weeks I hope to finally take a 100% working game panel that I've spent more than time troubleshooting than actually playing ..fingers crossed

I just had this trouble... Ability brick solid orange LED, won't turn on by controller, manually turns off but shuts down in i second. I tried everything on the back up folio to do it myself, all the same didn't work. I called back up and they just tried to get me to do everything i but tried on the support page. I literally tried everything nearly ten times and nonetheless zip worked. I was about to buy a new ability brick only i figured i should try everything again.
The ONE thing that finally worked was hard resetting the xbox. Within the second from turning it on, I held the power once more to reset it and it worked. I tried this ten times before and it didn't work until that last time. I suggest anyone who has this problem to try over and over to reset it this way until they go it to work. The timing has to exist then precise for you lot only have such a small-scale window of opportunity to go it to work, I'm maxim information technology is VERY PRECISE on timing. Just keep trying until yous get information technology, this was the only fashion I was able to become mine to work.
Also if this works and the same result comes upwardly a couple days later on, make certain to change your power and startup settings to free energy-saving mode.
